Creamed Spinach
with French Toast and Fried Eggs
 
     
     
     

Creamed Spinach is a simple but very popular meal.
It can be prepared from fresh or frozen spinach leaves.

Spinach
Wash the spinach leaves.  Heat the oil in a large pot.  Chop the garlic finely and sauté lightly.  Add a little water and the spinach leaves.  Cook until the spinach leaves wilt.  Add the sour cream, a bit of water, salt and pepper and blend with a hand-held blender.
 
French Toast
Whisk the eggs, then dip the bread slices into the egg mixture to coat both sides.  Fry in the hot oil to a golden colour.
 
Fried Eggs
Fry the eggs sunny side up in a little oil
