Pork Stew with Brussels Sprouts |
Brussels sprouts are a popular winter vegetable.
Combined with meat, spices and other vegetables they make a hearty stew.

Cut the meat into cubes. Trim the stems of the Brussels sprouts and remove the outer leaves. Peel potatoes and carrots and cut into pieces. Sauté the onions in oil until translucent. Sprinkle with the flour and stir. Add 200 ml water and let come to a boil. Add the meat and a bit of salt and cook slowly about 30 minutes. Then add the rest of the vegetables and spices. If necessary, add more water, but do not cover completely. Finish cooking at medium heat for another 30 minutes.
